Welcome to Syntax v3.0

“ DPS International, Saket welcomes you to SYNTAX​ ​v3.0​, to be held on 9th November 2019. This is a platform for you to display your skills through technology.
In the times we live in, technology plays a vital role in our everyday lives. With every passing day, a new innovation is being brought into the market which advances an already existing software or gadget. These advancements have greatly improved our lives. Technology is increasingly gaining importance in every sector, especially in education. The profound effect of technology on students lives cannot be denied.
With the firm belief that it is possible to explore new horizons of technology through innovation and practical learning, we take great pleasure in inviting your school to participate in Syntax v3.0. ”

  1. Number of participants: 1
  2. Eligibility: Classes 10th to 11th
  3. Students will get the topic on the event day itself.
  4. Each team needs to submit one entry.
  5. Softwares provided: Adobe Photoshop CS5

  2. Eligibility: Classes 8th to 11th
  3. Students will get the topic on the event day itself.
  4. Students will be given 1 hour for clicking the photograph within the school campus and 30 minutes to edit it.
  5. Students need to get their own cameras, laptops (for editing) and any other devices if required.

  2. Eligibility: Classes 11th to 12th
  3. Students will get the topic on the event day itself.
  4. Speakers will get the rules and regulations on the event day by the event coordinators.

  3. Students will get the topic on the event day itself.
  4. Students will be given internet access for 10 minutes, if any research is required.
  5. Students need to make a PowerPoint presentation of 6-8 slides.

  3. Students will have a written preliminary round.
  4. 6 teams will be selected for the quizzing finals.
  5. Rules and regulations for preliminary round and final round will be given on the event day.

  3. Students will get the topic/s, duration and other important details on 1st November, 2019 on the school website.
  4. Students need to upload their movie on Youtube and send the link to the Syntax Email Id by 7th November, 2019 23:59:59 hours. Syntax Email Id: syntax@dpsi.ac.in

  2. Eligibility: OPEN
  3. Teams will be required to create solutions using their algorithmic knowledge, mathematics and logic, to the given problems, in their preferred programming language.
  4. Prelims will be held online. The date for the prelims will be declared on the school website.

  4. If a student is participating in SyntaxSurprise, he/she must not participate in any other event.

  3. The event would be conducted across three rounds.
  4. Participants can get their own controllers and other gaming accesories.
  5. Participants would not be allowed to use their accessories if the event in-charges believe it would provide an unfair advantage in any way.

  3. Partcipants would first have to take part in a written preliminary round.
  4. Top 6 teams would qualify for the final round.
